I heart faces
This weeks photo challenge at iheartfaces was moterhood. When thinking of what pictures I had, well there aren't a whole lot of my mom because she is normally the one behind the lens. I did in fact remember a day hanging out with my step-mom and lil-sis. We were in the living room and I was taking a conventional pic while they were sitting on the sofa. While reviewing the first few shoots lil-sis was trying to give the far away and distant stare, looking off into space. My step mom said something of how it didnt quite fit the picture and zeroed in on... "but its your face." Well we erupted into massive fits of laughter and neither one could hold a straight face... along with me not being able to hold the camera straight (before i had an awesome flash!) I think this photo surrived to the naked eye mostly camera shake free and really encompasses a moment of motherhood!

Day 2
Yesterday was a work day, so an oldie was pulled out of the stash and run through photoshop. It is mostly black and white, with a color layer attached to the beetle and inversely to everything else. It was fun playing with this but will have to be more careful drawing my lines to make layers.
Also this is the original...

St. Patricks Day Parade
Now, since this is a blog I have decided to use to showcase some photographs I feel the need to post a few pictures to start it off with a bang. Yesterday was in fact St. Patricks day and here are a few jems. Also I need the practice of posting a few pictures.
The begining of the parade, and it has the green light... How appropriate.
A little action on the drums
A sly smiles between mates...
The little "top hatters"
Words can only describe what his boss will say tomorrow!
More drums
Festive balloning
Having a ball
Dancing in the streets...
Accordian flare...
A little dude that is too cool for school.
Vintage classic
And the pipes a must have at any irish parade.
My thoughts on uploading pictures, is that this is more time consuming then I had imagined. I am pleased that I did in fact figure out how to upload more than one picture at a time. That may have turned attitude on blogging around very quickly, and may have quelled my blogging career long before it got its feet off the ground. Looking forward to returning soon.

Day One
Well here it is, my head first dive into the the world of blogging. My intent with my very own space on the internet is a site that will house my pictures and be a spot of pride for me to show off. I am also interested in starting a 365 project. It will be interesting feat for me to complete considering that 3 days out of the week I normaly find myself contained in an ambulance for 24 hours at a time. An idea is to work on my editing those days... work permitting! Well Cheers and hats off, here I go.
